I oversee all day-to-day operations of the business. I have been part of the office team here for over 25 years.
I handle our patient’s treatment plans and oversee all day-to-day operations. My goal is to make sure our patients are taken care of, have a good understanding of why they are here and that their questions are answered. I try to make their periodontal visit as pleasant as possible. I have been a part of the office team here for over 22 years. Dr. Gohel is an extremely skilled doctor who truly loves what she does and is wonderful to work with. I also have the pleasure of working with Dr. Sinks. Both doctors have an amazing chairside manner and you can see they really love what they do!
When I’m not here in the office, my husband and I spend a lot of time outdoors and are starting to travel more now that our kids are all grown.

My first interaction with new patients is to make them feel comfortable and make sure they have all the information that is available to them. I assist Dr. Gohel and Dr. Sinks in surgical procedures focusing on the job to make sure we achieve a safe and successful outcome. Following up with post-op patients gives me a chance to see how they are recovering and if there is anything I can do to help them along the way.
We all care so much for each other and our patients that it really doesn’t feel like the typical office environment; we are all friends. Dr. Gohel and Dr. Sinks are very generous, making sure to thank everyone around them, both patients and staff and go out of their way to show their appreciation for the staff.
Outside of work I am a BIG sports fan… GO PADRES!! I enjoy hanging out with friends, family and spending time with my husband and our two cats.

I love coming to work everyday. The environment here is conducive to learning and growing. We’re all willing to help each other. Dr. Gohel and Dr. Sinks are amazing. They treat us and their patients with the same love and respect.
Outside of work I love spending time with family and my dogs. I also really enjoy bouldering at grotto.

My name is Ariana. I am a San Diego native and have been in the dental field for 12 years. Over my years working in dentistry, I’ve learned that the key to happiness is working in a positive work environment and working with people who share the same passion for helping people improve their smile.

Working with Dr. Gohel and Dr. Sinks and the team at Gums x Gohel has been such a great experience. It does not feel like I am going to “work“ every day. It truly feels like I am spending time with family.

In my spare time, I enjoy going to Petco Park and watching the Padres play or barbecuing with family.

My career in dentistry has been 34 years in “America’s Finest City”. Twenty of those years were spent in general dentistry, as well as in other specialties. I had the opportunity 14 years ago to work in periodontics, and I have enjoyed it ever since. I enjoy the precision and delicateness of the art of periodontal surgery. It is a beauty in itself to appreciate.

Being a surgical assistant, I am able to be side by side with the doctors to help patients understand their treatment and make sure they are comfortable. I know that Dr. Gohel and Dr. Sinks provide care and concern for their patients, which is very important to me as well. With that understanding, I know that I am part of a great team, that puts patients first and helps them every step of the way.

On beautiful days when the sun is warm and bright I try to spend time with my toes in the sand playing in the waves. The beach is the ultimate! I also enjoy fun road trips, thrifting, and antiquing. The joy of all joys is spending time with my grandchildren.

My names is Karina. I am an experienced surgical assistant specializing in periodontics. I take pride in creating a calm, safe, and sterile environment for both patients and the surgical team, ensuring every procedure runs smoothly and efficiently. I’m passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment journey, and I’m committed to continuing education and growth within the dental field.

As a mother of two wonderful daughters our home is filled with music, laughter, and dance—some of my favorite moments are singing and dancing around the house with them.

I’ve always been passionate about helping others and making meaningful connections, which is what drew me to the dental field. I’m known for my warm personality, positive attitude, and attention to detail—qualities I bring to everything I do. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, staying active, and finding new ways to grow both personally and professionally. I also love spending time with my Chihuahua, Bambi, who definitely keeps life interesting and full of joy. I believe that a genuine smile can make a big difference, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of a team that helps people feel confident in theirs.
