Dental Implants
What's a Dental Implant?
A dental implant can be used to replace a missing tooth or to keep a denture plate in place. Implants are durable, lasting restorations that rely on a process known as osseointegration to naturally fuse with the bone of your jaw. We offer many different implant options that are suitable for your needs and dental health. We can perform the implant surgery in-office as well as provide help in implant restoration as needed.

Dr. Gohel explains what a dental implant is and how it works.
What can you expect with the Dental Implant procedure?
To begin, a consult and exam are required to determine if implants are right for you. You will then be scheduled for the surgery itself and will be given information on what to expect. A tiny incision is made through the gums to expose the bone underneath. The implant post is inserted into the bone and given time to heal. The implant will fuse and bond with the bone in about six months, though this time may be longer or shorter for some patients. You will then need to have a dental crown made to be placed on top of the newly healed implant.
